Hours Shift Pattern: 5days on 3days off, average 39.5 hrs per week, Shift is 7.30am to 5pm. Working weekends and bank holidays is a requirement.

About you
Required qualifications are Maths, English & Science, with grade 9-4 or A*-C.
You will have a strong interest in engineering, metalwork, and fabrication, with a willingness to learn and develop practical skills. You will need to be physically fit as the role will require lifting and carrying of materials and equipment.
It is an essential requirement to have a full driver’s licence as there will be elements of travel involved.
Candidates should possess good attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
About the role
You will gain hands-on experience in fabricating metal structures and components used in power generation and other industries. You will develop skills in cutting, shaping, assembling, and welding metal materials, ensuring high-quality production and compliance with industry standards. Working alongside experienced professionals, you will contribute to manufacturing, repairs, and upgrades of various structures, including panels, frameworks, and equipment supports.

Key responsibilities
It is a requirement of the role that you attend college classes as outlined by the learning provider and participate in ongoing assessments both in theory and practical.
This is an exciting opportunity for a learner who is looking to complete his / her metal fabrication apprenticeship and to work for a progressive company at the forefront of power generation.
Working outside normal hours is a requirement for which overtime will be paid at the prevailing rate.
