Families & Colleagues Join for a Great Cause
This year, MEMS proudly sponsored the Demelza Bubble Rush event, which took place on a glorious sunny Sunday, June 23rd, at Mote Park in Maidstone. The day was filled with a vibrant sea of bubbles as over 2,500 participants gathered to support a fantastic cause.
Perfect weather added to the lively atmosphere, and families, friends, and colleagues from MEMS came together to take part in this bubbly adventure. Seeing so many familiar faces, as MEMS staff attended with their families, all eager to contribute to the event’s success was wonderful.
Thanks to the incredible generosity and enthusiasm of all those involved, Demelza has already raised an impressive £60,000, with donations still coming in. Demelza is optimistic about reaching their target of £75,000 in the coming weeks as the spirit of giving continues to thrive.
Demelza is a charity that provides specialist care and emotional support for children with serious or terminal conditions and their families. Their services include hospice care, respite, and bereavement support, ensuring that families receive the best possible care and guidance during challenging times. By supporting Demelza, we help ensure that these vital services continue to reach those in need.
The Bubble Rush was not only a fun event but also a meaningful one, highlighting our unwavering commitment to supporting worthy causes. Participants enjoyed the colourful bubble stations and the sense of community that brought everyone together.
