MEMS Bubble Rush Event Raises £60,000 for Demelza
On Sunday, June 23rd, Mote Park in Maidstone became a hub of excitement as MEMS Power Generation proudly sponsored the Demelza Bubble Rush Event, bringing over 2,500 participants together. This vibrant day of fun and fundraising supported Demelza Hospice Care for Children, helping provide care for children with life-limiting conditions and much-needed support for their families.
A Day of Foam and Fundraising
The Demelza Bubble Rush Event featured multiple bubble stations along the route, immersing participants in colourful foam and laughter. Not only did families, friends, and colleagues of all ages join in, but they also created a joyful atmosphere while contributing to a meaningful cause. Meanwhile, children laughed as they ran through bubbles, and adults joined the fun, making it a day filled with smiles and excitement. £60,000 Raised for a Worthy Cause
Thanks to the generosity of sponsors, participants, and supporters, the event successfully raised £60,000. Moreover, donations are still coming in, and Demelza is optimistic about reaching their £75,000 goal. These vital funds will enable Demelza to continue providing hospice care, respite, and emotional guidance to families during their most challenging times. As a result, every contribution plays a crucial role in ensuring children and their families receive the care they need.
