A Successful Swing: Demelza Charity Golf Day at London Golf Club
On a bright and sunny Friday, the London Golf Club hosted the Demelza Golf Charity Event, a remarkable occasion sponsored by MEMS Power Generation. The event brought together golfers, sponsors, and supporters to raise funds for Demelza, a charity dedicated to providing specialist care for seriously ill children and their families.
Highlights of the Day
The event featured several memorable moments, including a spectacular performance by award-winning trick-shot artist Jeremy Dale. His incredible skill and engaging personality added excitement to the day, leaving a lasting impression on attendees.
Another highlight was the live auction, where participants bid on exclusive prizes, including a luxurious three-night stay at the Fairmont Royal Palm in Marrakech. This prize, along with others, drew great enthusiasm and contributed significantly to the fundraising total.
£34,000 Raised for a Worthy Cause
Thanks to the generosity of attendees and sponsors, the event raised an incredible £34,000. These funds will help Demelza continue its invaluable work providing compassionate care, clinical support, and emotional guidance to children and their families.

Continuing Support for Demelza
MEMS support for Demelza extends far beyond the golf course. Team members have taken part in Bubble Rush 2025, Bubble Rush 2024, and Bubble Rush 2023, helping to raise awareness and funds through these community events. Staff have also volunteered to spruce up the gardens at Demelza’s Kent hospice, supported donation drives through an on-site container at our Kent HQ, and contributed time at the Demelza warehouse to help sort and distribute items to their 29+ charity shops across the South East.
