Salary £27,216 per annum

Hours Rolling Shift Pattern of 5 days on 3 days off, average 39.5 hrs per week Shift is 7.30am to 5pm. Working weekends and bank holidays is a requirement.

About you
You will have excellent organisational and prioritising skills with good internal and external customer service along with the ability to negotiate. This role will require you to have a full UK driving licence along with basic computer literacy skills.

About the role
To assist in the day-to-day operation of the company stores department under the guidance of the stores manager. This will involve the sourcing, ordering, maintaining, and record keeping of stock and non-stock items used by the business in its operations.

Key responsibilities

  • Order, issue and record items/services required by the Company
  • Loading and unloading of vehicles and containers
  • Maintain stock levels
  • Check and record goods in/out
  • Source correct product at the best price
  • Maintain records of equipment testing
  • Complete stock checks
  • Operate the Stores software system and ensure all records are up to date
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of all stores and delivery areas
  • Maintain COSHH recordsReporting any maintenance and/or hazard issues to the supervisor on duty
